that damn donovan is a fucking genius. most everyone just know him as that guy who had a song in a gap commercial one time. they call me mellow yellow! they call me mellow yellow!! you sing those lines and everyone remembers ribbed neck sweaters and khaki pants... but by god! donovan is so much more than this! i swear. his music is intoxicating. just give it a try. everyone. give it a try.

moving on, yesterday was a complete waste of a day. i spent five stupid hours waiting for my cellphone to be repaired and as a result missed Q and not U at fort reno. i've seen Q and not U plenty of times, but a lot of my friends ended up going and i know it would have been an awesome time. everything must happen for a reason though, because i ended up having a fantastic night. ellie spent the night and caitlin and nitza came over. we all just sat around telling stories and laughing. what a good way to spend time.

things have been good lately. lets hope that they continue in that direction.
